DPS/Compare® for Interleaf/Quicksilver Systems


REVISION MANAGEMENT and ARCHIVAL

Documents and their revisions are stored and maintained in an archive cabinet on you desktop. With Compare's check-in/check-out capabilities, the revision of a document you want can be quickly identified, retrieved, modified, and then added back into the archive. The next revision number is automatically assigned for you.

If you need to see the revision history of a document, Compare provides it including the dates of modification, who made the modification, and any notes relative to the changes. Compare can also show you the differences between the current version of a document or book and previous versions stored in the archive.

Please note that this feature of Compare is not available on Windows NT nor Windows 95 due to operating system constraints.
